ABC Trading Light-Up Children’s Toys Recalled Over Battery Ingestion Hazard
ABC Trading is recalling about 43,674 light-up glasses, crown headbands, sparkle headbands and ties because children can easily access their button cell batteries, posing an ingestion hazard.

Why the toys were recalled
The toys contain button cell batteries in compartments that children can easily access. Swallowed button cell or coin batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death. The CPSC says the products violate the mandatory standard for toys. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
How to identify the recalled toys
The recall covers ABC Trading light-up glasses, crown headbands, sparkle headbands and ties. The products are packaged in a large clear plastic bag with a white label. That label shows identifier 6502 for the light-up tie, HD-10 for the light-up headbands or L-508 for the light-up glasses. Each item is also individually wrapped in clear plastic with a white label reading “MADE IN CHINA, Importer: ABC TRADING, INC.”

About 43,674 toys were sold for approximately $1 at ABC Trading stores in Los Angeles, California, other specialty stores nationwide and online at abctradinginc.com from September 2016 through May 2026.
