The glued knot on the elastic cord can become untied, allowing young children to access small wooden and plastic pieces. These pieces pose a risk of serious injury or death from choking and ingestion hazards. The firm received two reports of knots becoming untied. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled HABA Rainbow Rattle Grasping and Teething Toy has item number 2012261001 and batch code 0925. The colorful, mixed-material wooden toy has plastic rattling rings. The batch code is printed in black on one of the natural wooden hemisphere pieces. The item number is on the back of the backer card above the barcode.
Where the toys were sold
About 2,000 toys were sold for about $13 at specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Target.com, Bellalunatoys.com, Habausa.com and Nordstrom.com from December 2025 through July 2026. Habermaass Corporation, Inc. dba HABA USA imported the toys, which were manufactured in China.
