The fire hose port can come loose and detach, posing a risk of serious injury from choking. Melissa & Doug has received 26 reports of the small port coming loose and one report of a minor cut.
How to identify an affected toy
The recalled Lights & Sounds Fire Truck Activity Board is a compact fire engine toy with spinning wheels and busy-board activities that activate lights and sounds. It measures about 10.5 inches high, 14.31 inches wide and 3.06 inches deep. “Melissa & Doug” is embossed on the battery compartment box on the bottom. Affected toys have date wheels showing year 25 with month 4 or 5, or year 26 with month 3. Recalled packaging has date code OET 25100, OET 25150 or OET 26064.
Where the toys were sold
The activity boards were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from July 2025 through August 2026 for about $30. The toys were manufactured in China and imported by Melissa & Doug of Wilton, Connecticut.
