SDADI Kitchen Step Stools Recalled Over Fall and Entrapment Hazards
CPSC has recalled 5,952 SDADI Kitchen step stools, models LT01 and LT05. The wooden towers can collapse or tip over, and their openings can entrap a child’s torso, posing risks of serious injury and death.

Which step stools are recalled?
The recall applies to SDADI Kitchen step stools with model numbers LT01 and LT05. These wooden standing towers measure about 35 inches high, 15 to 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep. They were sold in gray, white, espresso, pink and natural wood colors.
Why the stools are hazardous
The tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use. A child’s torso can also fit through openings on the front and back, creating tip-over, fall and entrapment hazards that pose risks of serious injury and death.
Reported incidents and sales details
Yiwushi Bihe Trading is aware of eight reports of instability or tip-overs, including four reported injuries such as scrapes, cuts and bruises. The stools were sold through Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com and Best Buy.com from April 2024 through September 2025 for between $45 and $155.
