The recall applies to bear-shaped decorative refrigerator magnets in various colors. They came in sets of 10, 20 or 30 pieces packaged in small plastic bags. SKU sh2403211731230106 is printed on the packaging label.
Why they were recalled
The magnets contain loose magnets that pose an ingestion hazard to children and can appeal to children or teens. Swallowed high-powered magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in intestinal perforations, twisting or blockage, blood poisoning and death.
Where and when they were sold
The magnets were sold online at SHEIN.com from May 2025 through February 2026 for between $3 and $4. About 4,640 units are affected. They were manufactured in China and imported by SHEIN Distribution Corporation of Los Angeles, California. The CPSC notice reports no incidents or injuries.
