Taleco Gear Baby Jumpers and Swings Recalled Over Fall and Strangulation Hazards
CPSC has recalled Taleco Gear baby jumpers, baby swings and 2-in-1 jumper-swings because they can become unstable. Hanging restraint straps and seat openings also pose strangulation hazards.

Why the products were recalled
The baby jumpers, baby swings and 2-in-1 jumper-swings can become unstable, posing fall and impact hazards. The hanging restraint straps and seat openings can also pose strangulation hazards and create a risk of serious injury or death.
Products included in the recall
The CPSC notice identifies Taleco Gear baby jumpers, baby swings, 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-A products and 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-B products. They were sold in black, white, gray, pink, blue and green. The Baby Jumper and both 2-in-1 products have model number jumper-01, while the Baby Swing has model number swing-1. The model number appears on the fabric wash-and-care label sewn into the fabric seat cover.
Reports and sales details
Taleco Gear received at least 52 reports involving fall, impact and strangulation hazards. These included at least 32 reports of injuries, such as head bumps and a bloody nose. About 41,100 products were sold in the United States, and another 150 were sold in Canada. They were sold online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and TalecoGear.com from April 2021 through July 2026 for between $65 and $120.
